In 2022, A Contracorriente Films sought to launch the new acontra+ service, offering audiences a premium subscription model alongside TVOD for exclusive content releases.

acontra+, is a new Spanish streaming concept that combines movie streaming and cinema tickets in a subscription. The streaming service is run by the independent Spanish distributor A Contracorriente Films. It offers a vast catalogue of national and international feature films of all genres, classics and contemporary films.

The acontra+ streaming service is for audiences who want to enjoy the big screen and those who love to watch movies in theatres and at home.
